Studio 889 began with just one community printmaking workshop through a grant from The Bronx Museum, ACTION LAB – Bronx Museum @ The Point in 2004. Now Studio 889 provides arts in education, community and professional printmaking workshops. Founded and led by well-respected printmaker and BRIO Award-winning artist Alejandra Delfin. As part of Studio 889 mission, Studio introduces printmaking to everyone in the community, encourages individuals of all ages and levels of experience to explore, get involved, and support the arts.
